Life Skills For Puppies

The Herne Centre, Herne Bay
This is not your usual Puppy Class! Join me to learn the key skills that will get you through adolescence and help set your pup up to be a resilient, well reguated dog - from calmness, no matter the distraction, to being able to handle the frustrating situations life throws at them. We’ll cover emotional regulation, settle behaviours, impulse control and frustration tolerance, in easy, bitesized activities. These are the things most dog owners wish theyd taught more of, once their dog is older and can help give your puppy the tools they will need to handle many different situations as they grow, which in turn will help minimise the likeliness of problem behaviours later on.

Treibball (pronounced try-ball) is a positive, low-impact sport where dogs learn to ‘herd’ large exercise balls into a goal using calm focus and teamwork. It’s brilliant for building confidence, communication, and control while giving dogs a satisfying job to do.
Taught with kind, reward-based methods, Treibball suits dogs of all ages and abilities - from energetic youngsters to older companions who still love to learn.
