Wildshaped Canine Behaviour & Training Support
Is your dog a bit… much?
Do you love them, but not their behaviour? Do you often feel embarrassed or stressed out by the things they do… or don’t do? Maybe you dread your daily walk, or having people around? Or maybe you simply want someone to help you understand your dog’s behaviour and how to give them the best life possible…
You’re not alone! It can be hard when you constantly feel judged for all the things your dog does or doesn’t do. When you’re being dragged along at the end of the lead with no control, when your dog disappears across a park or a field with no sign of stopping or returning to you, when they’re jumping up at everyone they meet, or barking at every dog on a walk, chasing squirrels, or worse, livestock. Not only can it be embarrassing, but it can be dangerous, for you, your dog and others. It can even get you into serious legal trouble.
I can help you make a change! Through tailored training and behaviour support, I can introduce you to new skills that help to keep everyone safe and work towards enriching your dog’s life and giving them more freedom. Not only can I teach you key safety skills, such as recall, emergency stop, loose-lead and heel walking, but I can help to transform the way you live your life with your dog, injecting the fun back into your walks and your home, creating calmness for when you need it and, most importantly, solidifying the bond between you, all while growing a happier, healthier dog.
Why Choose Us?
-
Ethical.
The physical and emotional well-being of both you and your dog will always be my top priority. I want your results to be lasting, without risking the bond with your dog, your safety or their health and happiness, which means I will only ever use ethical, reward-based methods as part of any training or behaviour service I provide.
-
Qualified.
I currently hold Level 4 and Level 5 equivalent qualifications in Canine Training and Behaviour. I am committed to my Continuous Professional Development, always looking for new courses and learning to undertake. I always aim to expand my knowledge and skill set, keeping myself up to date on the latest studies and science.
-
Supportive.
Living with a dog whose behaviour is a constant source of worry or frustration can be hard. Even simply wanting to give them the best life possible can be a source of stress, wondering if you’re doing enough. This is why I provide support that can not only make a difference, but that comes with empathy and understanding, at every step of the journey.
